On this tour we gain access to areas of the prison not open to the public including the cafeteria, chapel, death row and the west building prison cells. We were accompanied by an experienced prison tour guide who provided historical details and anecdotal information in addition to Kelli’s movie related details. Kelli’s presentation at the end was extremely well researched and added a richness to the tour that made the entire experience educational as well as entertaining! Would recommend highly!!

Loved the program about amusement parks and racism. You presented very factually and tactically. I learned a lot. It never ceases to amaze me how terrible people were to minorities. Resources such as your presentation helps to make sure we never forget. Thanks again.

Enjoyed the fabulous tour led by Kelli from Chicago Movie Tours about The Art of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. The tour took place in the Art Institute of Chicago where scenes from the aforementioned movie took place. Kelli weaved together stories about the movie, its creator, the actors and the art. She helped us to imagine the museum in the 1980s - the decade the movie was made. Along with stories, Kelli used an iPad to integrate scenes and images from the movie into our current experience. Bravo!!

If you have kids that love Ferris Bueller's Day Off, they will love this walking tour! I went with my sister and 15-year-old son, and we all learned something about how this 2-minute scene was so significant in the movie and to the director. Do not miss this if you are in Chicago. It brings everything about this movie to a new experience level and a better understanding. Bravo!

Our family of four booked the Ferris Bueller's Day Off art tour with Kelli on our trip to Chicago in early December. Kelli was a wonderful guide! She navigated seamlessly around the museum to show us the works of art featured in the movie and provided insight about Hughes' choice of paintings for the movie and even showed us paintings we might have missed without her guidance. She interacted very well with our school-aged children. The tour was the perfect length and so much fun to experience!

Our group had an amazing time on the Chicago and Movies Highlights Tour! We planned our company retreat, "Summer Fun Day," around learning and celebrating Chicago films, and our tour guide Kelli did a wonderful job educating and entertaining us. We would definitely recommend taking this tour if you are a Chicago visitor or a native looking to learn more about the city!

What a fantastic tour! Kelli is a true expert in film and knows how to share her expertise in a fun and unique way! She took us to several locations in the downtown area of Chicago where scenes from well known and lesser known movies were filmed. Armed with a handheld screen, she was able to make those scenes come alive as she shared different techniques that the directors used to get just the right few seconds of film. And it was right where we were standing! I’ve visited Chicago about a dozen times and this is now my FAVORITE tour!! Bravo, Kelli!! Thanks for the wonderful memory!

My wife and I were delighted with the Art of Ferris Bueller Walking Tour at Chicago's Art Institute. Kelli's extensive knowledge of both the movie and the museum were combined into an informative and entertaining tour that will deepen your understanding and appreciation for this classic film. She combines clips from the movie and closeup views of the relevant paintings and sculptures with fascinating historical background and analysis that will leave you feeling like an expert. Highly recommended!

It was really fun to get to see places around the city connected to one of my favorite films [While You Were Sleeping] while sitting on my couch!

I watched the double feature [on The Breakfast Club] which included the interview with John/Carl the janitor. I enjoyed them both. Thank you for two great presentations.

This was a wonderful, fascinating and fun tour with Kelli! We did this with our kids ages 9-16 and, even though they had not seen the movie, she was able to get allmof them enthusiastic about the tour. By the end, they all wanted to watch Ferris Bueller as soon as possible. As for us parents, it was a great trip down memory lane.

This tour for me was a great way to learn more about Chicago through the lens of a film I enjoyed in my youth. Kelli offered depth and insight into John Hughes's creation Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I really enjoy Kelli's virtual tours. In a short amount of time she always brings out a lot of interesting information in an easy to understand manner. I hope to make it to Chicago for a live tour with her sometime! Check it out.
