About
On this largely outdoor walking tour, hit Millennium Park's highlights—"the Bean" (aka Cloud Gate), Crown Fountain, and Pritzker Pavilion—as you hear about their ties to Hollywood and beyond.
This 8-stop journey across Chicago's Millennium Park kicks off in the South Garden of the Art Institute of Chicago. There, learn about Chicago sculptor Lorado Taft's and his wife's connections to early cinema.
Then, making your way up Michigan Avenue, encounter one of Ferris Bueller's hangouts, engage with digital film technology and water, and hear about popular summertime movie screenings for all Chicagoans.
Finally, descend underneath Millennium Park through the tunnel where The Dark Knight filmed its now-famous Batman/Joker chase scene.
