Filmed in Chicago and on Mackinac Island, Somewhere in Time has gained a cult following over the years. The 1980 movie is beloved by many romantic movie fans, including Jo Addie, who will join Chicago Movie Tours live to talk about her personal experiences with the film.
Addie was an extra in Somewhere in Time, and she and her husband have worked as extras in other Chicago-based movies like The Blues Brothers.
Currently, Addie serves as the president of the Somewhere in Time fan club and the editor of a 30-year-old journal devoted to the film. She is also the architect behind The Somewhere in Time Weekend at Grand Hotel, an annual event held at the Michigan location where the movie was filmed.
